England led 4–0 at half-time in Rijeka after goals from Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Anthony Gordon and Bukayo Saka. Kane and Saka scored again after the break, before substitute Morgan Rogers added a seventh. [1]

After the match, former Republic of Ireland midfielder Roy Keane told ITV that Bellingham could become “one of the greatest players of all time”. Asked by BBC Sport whether the midfielder had reached another level, England coach Thomas Tuchel said it seemed so “at the moment”, adding that players must keep developing. [2]
