President Donald Trump shared a Just the News article on 26 September that portrayed his UN speech as evidence that his policies and pressure had reshaped world affairs. The assessment was written by the outlet’s White House correspondent, Amanda Head, and published on 23 September — before Trump met Chinese President Xi Jinping. [1] [2]
Head pointed to a reported Arctic security agreement involving Denmark and Greenland, pressure on Iran and Russia, and the prospect of talks with Beijing. Her article said the Arctic arrangement was not an annexation and cited Denmark’s recognition of Greenland’s right to self-determination. [2]
Trump and Xi met at the White House on 24 September. The White House said the two countries reached consensus on recommendations for more favourable tariff treatment covering $30 billion worth of non-sensitive goods in each direction. It also announced a dialogue on AI risks and benefits. A Chinese account described a new trade arrangement and said Xi urged the US to oppose Taiwan independence. [3] [4]
