The Dutch government put asylum inflow in week 39 at about 900. That measure covers more than first-time asylum applications: it also includes repeat applications, resettlement, relocation and family members arriving to join relatives. [1]
Of the total, 550 were first applications and 280 were arriving family members, excluding the category labelled ‘8EVRM’. The remaining 70 comprised repeat applications, resettlement and relocation. [1]
The figures are provisional and rounded to the nearest ten. The Immigration and Naturalisation Service publishes definitive asylum figures and trends each month. [1]
