RacingNews365 Nederland reports that Lambiase is set to become chief racing officer at McLaren under team principal Andrea Stella. It says he will remain Verstappen’s race engineer at Red Bull until he leaves, but gives no exact departure date. [1]
In comments on the P1 with Matt & Tommy podcast relayed by RacingNews365 Nederland, Verstappen said their shared personal and sporting experiences had made the relationship a friendship, not just a working partnership. He said they still care about each other and want the best possible results for as long as they work together. [1]
RacingNews365 Nederland also reports that Tom Hart has been chosen to succeed Lambiase on Verstappen’s pit wall, while Tom McCullough will take over Lambiase’s separate Head of Racing role in 2027. [1]
