Dutch news site Nieuws.nl reports that Sony is in talks to make a film based on the Battlefield video games. Citing The Wrap, it says several studios bid on a proposed adaptation involving Christopher McQuarrie and Michael B. Jordan, with Sony appearing to have come out ahead. [1]
McQuarrie is expected to write, direct and produce the film, while Jordan is currently attached as a producer. Jordan could also act in it, Nieuws.nl reports, citing Variety, though that remains conditional. [1]
