New-car sales in the Netherlands rose by nearly 13% in September, according to figures from vehicle-registration company RDC reported by ANP. Fully electric cars made up almost 53% of sales that month. [1]

Despite September’s increase, new-car sales for the first nine months of 2026 were down nearly 2%, at 264,701 vehicles. [1]
