Dutch presenter Kees Tol says leaving SBS6’s VTWonen was not his choice, though viewers will still see him in the current season.

Tol announced the change on Instagram on Monday, 28 September, Nieuws.nl reported. He said Talpa, SBS and the VTWonen brand wanted a fresh approach to the programme. Tol said he understood the decision, but that it was not his choice. [1]
He said he did not know which colleague would replace him. Tol will still appear in the current season, which began on Sunday, and said 11 new episodes featuring him remain. [1]
Tol has presented the weekly home programme for almost nine years. His appointment as Viktor Brand’s successor was announced in late 2017. [1]
