RacingNews365 Nederland published Alonso’s remarks on 1 October after speaking with him alongside other journalists. The two-time Formula 1 champion said he thought the motorsport challenges he had taken on in the past were not over, and suggested there might be more surprises in the coming weeks. [1]
Alonso also described Max Verstappen as the only F1 driver trying GT racing. That was Alonso’s characterisation of other drivers’ activities. [1]
Alonso did not name a race or series, or say whether the possible surprises would involve a new racing entry. [1]
