Shein’s revenue from Europe fell 13.9% year on year in the second quarter of 2026 to nearly $3.8bn (€3.3bn), ANP reported via Nieuws.nl. The fall came before new EU import duties on small parcels took effect on 1 July. Shein’s total revenue, by contrast, rose by almost 1% to more than $11bn. [1]
Shein attributed the European decline partly to fewer items being sold after price rises. The company also reduced its online advertising spending ahead of the EU rule change. [1]
Under the change described by ANP, a €3 duty applies to orders worth up to €150 entering the EU from outside the bloc. [1]
