The Swiss football association (SFV) has withdrawn its support for Gianni Infantino’s re-election as FIFA president, reversing an earlier endorsement of its fellow Swiss national. [1]
The SFV said its decision followed a review of developments in recent months. It said several incidents had raised fundamental questions about FIFA’s leadership, governance, transparency and decision-making, but did not name the incidents in the remarks quoted by ANP/Reuters. [1]
