Monaco is due to host a Formula 1 sprint for the first time in 2027, a decision Lewis Hamilton has questioned. “It makes no sense to me,” he told journalists, including RacingNews365, which reported his comments on 30 September 2026. [1]
Under the planned format, sprint qualifying would follow just one hour of practice.
