Deputy chief medical officer Dr Martin Mansfield said the trust had taken immediate steps to secure Noah’s records and prevent access without a legitimate clinical reason. The trust has reported the breach to the Information Commissioner’s Office and said it would keep Noah’s family informed as its investigation progresses. Disciplinary action would be taken if needed, it added. [1]
Noah went missing in Brantham, Suffolk, on 15 September. At least 1,300 people helped search for him before police divers found his body in nearby water the following day. [1]
An inquest in Ipswich heard that Noah, who was three, had left a play area through a gap in a fence. Assistant coroner Jyoti Gill opened and adjourned the proceedings. [1]
