Finland’s president has arrived in Luxembourg for a state visit that will cover trade, European cooperation and the war in Ukraine.

Luxembourg’s Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie received Finnish President Alexander Stubb and his wife Suzanne on Tuesday, 29 September, for a two-day state visit. Guillaume and Stubb inspected the guard before an official welcome at the palace, where the two couples posed for photographers. The Finnish delegation then visited the national war memorial in Luxembourg City. [1]
The visit’s agenda includes bilateral relations, economic and commercial cooperation, efforts to strengthen Europe and the war in Ukraine. Stubb is also due to meet Luxembourg’s prime minister, Luc Frieden. [1]
