The pair were part of the PFA Business School’s 2026 graduating group, which gathered at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium. Dewsbury-Hall completed a postgraduate diploma in global football sport directorship while continuing to play for Everton. He told BBC Sport that the subject interested him, though he had not decided whether he would use the qualification in a future career. [1]
Awoniyi, a Coventry City striker, said this was his third qualification, following a business management degree and another diploma. He said he had promised his father that he would keep studying if he played football. [1]
The course schedules seminars to minimise clashes with training and matches, allowing players to study alongside their football careers. [1]
