The bollard at the final corner has been shifted from the start of the pit-entry route to a point farther back, where the grass verge begins. RacingNews365 reports that the change was made after Friday’s running so that drivers who run wide are less likely to be channelled into the pit lane during Sunday’s race. [1]
RacingNews365 says Liam Lawson and Kimi Antonelli passed to the right of the bollard on Friday before returning to the track. The outlet says that route was not permitted under the rules. [1]
