Report an error or exercise a right of reply
Use the question or correction function by an article, or contact us using the details below. Include the URL, the exact passage, your proposed correction and evidence. People or organisations concerned may submit a substantiated response. Disagreement alone does not establish a factual error.
How we handle reports
We compare the report with the sources and published wording. We may correct, clarify, append a response or withdraw material. Substantive changes are recorded in the article history and relevant translations are considered. A brief editorial note may identify an unresolved issue; it does not replace necessary correction.
Old event previews are not republished as fresh news solely to close an old warning. A necessary correction can still be made to the existing archive. We distinguish the first publication date from substantive updates.
Moderation and complaints
Comments are checked for conduct, not political agreement. A hidden contribution can be revised or submitted for human reconsideration through its private notice or using the contact details below. Include the article and comment reference. Privacy and rights reports use the same contact route; do not publish the personal information concerned in a public complaint.
