We publish reporting, research, analysis and opinion. Articles may be produced or translated with AI. AI involvement and recorded human review are described with the article; an AI review is not human approval or a guarantee of truth. Information reflects its stated publication date and sources. It is not individual medical, legal, investment or other professional advice.
Use accurate account details and keep access credentials private. Do not impersonate others or submit unlawful material, threats, hatred, harassment, spam or another person’s private information. Relevant criticism and disagreement are permitted. We may restrict misuse or remove content, explain moderation decisions and provide a route to reconsideration. You retain rights in your contributions and grant us the non-exclusive permission needed to display, moderate and retain them within the discussion and its history.
New eligible accounts receive five research credits once. There is no monthly refill. Previously issued balances remain recorded. Credits represent access to research functions, are not money and cannot be withdrawn for cash. A question normally costs one credit; any applicable cost is shown before submission. Existing contribution rewards are explained in your account.
Purchases, when enabled, are one-off payments: the quantity, total price including applicable tax and payment conditions are shown before you pay. There is no automatic subscription. A payment return page alone does not confirm delivery; credits follow confirmed payment. Contact us about failed delivery or refunds. Statutory consumer rights, including any applicable withdrawal and conformity rights, remain in force.
You may link to our articles. Quotations must retain their meaning and identify News Made Clear with a direct article link where possible. For wider reuse, contact us unless a displayed licence or the law already permits it. This does not restrict lawful quotation or unprotected facts.
Third-party photographs, screenshots, quotations and source documents remain subject to their own rights. Our use does not grant readers a licence to republish them. The five starter credits are a one-time offer per person, after email confirmation and checks for previous use. Extra accounts, email variants and deleting and recreating an account do not entitle you to another bonus. We check email and browser identifiers; sharing a browser may prevent an automatic bonus.
