In remarks to Entertainment Weekly reported by Nieuws.nl on 4 October, Sorkin said he met Eisenberg when he was only a few pages from finishing the screenplay for The Social Reckoning. He promised to send it to the actor within weeks and did so. Sorkin said it had not occurred to him that Eisenberg might turn down the role. [1]
Sorkin said he tried to persuade Eisenberg, but believes the actor no longer wants to be associated with Zuckerberg. He also said money was not a motivation for Eisenberg. Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White are among the sequel’s cast. [1]
