Statistics Netherlands says its model of Dutch mobility trends now includes 2025 survey data and adjusts for changes in the survey’s methods.
Review information is loading.
Statistics Netherlands (CBS) has updated its model of mobility trends among Dutch residents to include data through 2025. The model is designed to estimate changes over time across detailed personal and journey characteristics, while accounting for changes in how the annual travel survey is conducted. [1]
The update draws on the Dutch Travel Survey, known by its Dutch acronym ODiN. CBS says the survey’s methods have changed over the years; its multilevel time-series model was developed to adjust for breaks caused by those changes. The update is described in a discussion paper by H. J. Boonstra and J. van den Brakel.
