The NOS has extended its Eredivisie highlights deal through 2031/32, with new social-media opportunities and plans for online programmes.
Review information is loading.
The NOS will continue broadcasting highlights of the Dutch Eredivisie through the 2031/32 season, under a renewed deal that also gives the public broadcaster more scope to share league content on social media.
The agreement with Eredivisie Media & Marketing covers the men’s and women’s Eredivisie. It also allows the NOS to broadcast highlights from the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, the Netherlands’ second tier, and the Eurojackpot Women’s Eredivisie.
NOS Sport editor-in-chief Xander van der Wulp said the familiar highlights slot on NPO 1 would remain, while the deal created more ways to reach fans through NPO Start, the NOS app and social media.
The NOS also plans new online programmes about the Eredivisie. It will work with commercial broadcaster ESPN on a youth programme, though its format has not yet been decided.
