Scotland have recalled Scott McTominay, Kieran Tierney and Che Adams for their final two Nations League fixtures, while James Penrice has received his first call-up to the national squad.
Head coach Sebastien Pocognoli named 26 players for the matches against North Macedonia at home and Switzerland away. McTominay had missed club and international games in September and October after a minor heart procedure. Penrice, a Rangers defender, is among the squad’s 13 defenders.
Kristi Montgomery, who was added late to the previous squad, keeps his place. Defenders Scott McKenna and midfielder Kenny McLean are unavailable through injury. Lennon Miller, Josh Doig, Colby Donovan and James Wilson have been left out.
Scotland sit third in Nations League Group B1, behind Switzerland and Slovenia. They need at least four points from the two games to retain any chance of finishing second and reaching the promotion play-offs. A point would be enough to remove the threat of relegation, according to the BBC.
