Roxeanne Hazes is set to perform a musical tribute to television figures who died over the past year at Thursday’s Gouden Televizier-Ring Gala. Broadcaster AVROTROS announced the performance on Monday, according to Nieuws.nl. It will be part of the gala’s In Memoriam segment, but AVROTROS has not said which song Hazes will sing. [1]
Hazes, 33, also shared the announcement on Instagram, writing “Wat een eer” — “What an honour” in English — Nieuws.nl reported. [1]
The gala is scheduled to air on NPO 1 from 21:00 on Thursday 8 October. Splinter Chabot and Britt Dekker are due to report from the red carpet from 20:30. [1]
