Review information is loading.
Lieke Nooijen secured the overall Eneco Tour title after finishing the final 70-kilometre stage in Arnhem, where Belgium’s Marthe Truyen won the sprint. Nooijen finished 32 seconds ahead of fellow Dutch rider Femke Markus in the general classification. [1]
Nooijen, who rides for Visma–Lease a Bike, had built her lead with victories in the prologue and time trial. They were her first wins since taking the Dutch road-race championship earlier this year. [1]
The final stage was raced over an eight-kilometre circuit. Truyen broke away with two other riders late on and won the sprint just ahead of the chasing peloton. Dutch riders Scarlett Souren and Charlotte Kool finished second and third. [1]
