Seven women are being considered possible victims, prosecutors say, including two from an earlier case that did not lead to prosecution.

A 46-year-old dentist in Kasterlee, Belgium, was arrested on 15 October during searches of his practice and private address. He has since been barred from practising while allegations of sexual misconduct are investigated, Antwerp prosecutors said. [1]
Five women have made complaints since the summer. One alleged that the dentist touched her intimately during treatment; according to prosecutors, the complaints concern touching unrelated to dental care. Two other women had reported alleged offences in an older case, which did not produce enough evidence for prosecution at the time. That case has now been reopened and joined to the current inquiry. [1]
Prosecutors describe the seven women as *possible victims*, not victims of seven established offences. The dentist was brought before an investigating judge and given conditions including the ban on practising. Local outlet Geel FM reported that he was released after questioning under those conditions. [1] [3]
The judicial investigation continues. Prosecutors are asking anyone with a similar experience during treatment by the dentist to come forward as they look into whether there are other possible victims. [1]
