Naomi Visser finished fifth in the uneven bars final at the World Championships in Rotterdam, scoring 14.366 points in her fourth appearance in a world final on the apparatus. The result is her best-ever bars finish at a World Championships.
Algeria’s Kaylia Nemour retained her title with 15.333 points. Germany’s Helen Kevric took silver on 14.833, ahead of American Skye Blakely, who scored 14.600.
Visser was the only Dutch gymnast to reach an apparatus final in Rotterdam. She had finished 11th in the all-around final earlier in the championships; coverage of that result reported that she was also scheduled to compete in the bars final.
