A 16-year-old boy has been found guilty of attempting to murder a 15-year-old schoolgirl at Thorpe St Andrew School near Norwich. He will be sentenced on 18 December, BBC News reports. [1]
The girl was stabbed in the back on 11 March. The trial at King’s Lynn Crown Court heard that her attacker brought a knife to school, wore black clothing and a face mask, and had written notes saying he hated women. [1]
The boy cannot be named for legal reasons. Jurors reached a majority verdict after deliberating for three hours and 54 minutes. [1]
