Robert Pattinson says Steven Soderbergh has been “incredibly generous” in helping director Matt Reeves complete *The Batman Part II*, with filming nearing its end and expected to resume within days.
Speaking to GamesRadar+, the actor said he was glad Soderbergh had stepped in to work alongside Reeves. “It’s completely selfless,” Pattinson said, describing the director’s decision to help take the film through to the editing stage as “fantastic”.
Reeves temporarily stepped away from the set for family reasons, and filming was halted. The two directors are now working together to finish the film, according to an earlier report on Soderbergh’s involvement.
Pattinson, who plays the title role, said filming was nearly complete and expected it to restart “in a few days”. *The Batman Part II* also stars Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell and Scarlett Johansson. It is a sequel to the 2022 film *The Batman*.
