Spain beat Czechia 3-1 in Oviedo for their third win in three Nations League group matches. Lamine Yamal opened the scoring just over five minutes in, and Rodri doubled Spain’s lead from a Pedri pass before half-time. [1]
Jiří Sláma pulled a goal back for Czechia, who then had a potential equaliser ruled out for an earlier foul. Ladislav Krejčí, already booked for protesting, was sent off after a second yellow card for a foul on Roberto Fernández. Mikel Merino scored Spain’s third goal in the 89th minute. [1]
Spain lead the group with nine points, having also beaten England and Croatia. England are second on six points after a 7-0 win over Croatia, while Czechia have yet to earn a point. [1]
