Sales of Paulien Cornelisse’s books rose sharply at 240 Libris-affiliated shops the day after her death, a spokesperson said.

The 240 bookshops affiliated with Libris sold 1.5 times as many books by Paulien Cornelisse on Thursday 1 October as they had sold throughout September, a spokesperson cited by Nieuws.nl said. The spokesperson did not give the number of copies sold. [1]
Cornelisse, a writer and comedian, died on Wednesday 30 September, aged 50, from cancer at the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital in Amsterdam. [1]
