The jet stopped briefly in Ecuador after Argentine officials said Bolsonaro and his family boarded a flight there. Flight tracking later showed it heading towards Miami, but did not identify its passengers.

AFP journalists saw a jet reported to have carried Flávio Bolsonaro and his family land in Guayaquil shortly before 4am local time on Wednesday and leave less than an hour later. FlightAware subsequently listed the aircraft as en route to Opa-locka Executive Airport near Miami. The tracking record establishes the plane’s route, not who was aboard after the stop.
Argentina’s migration authority said Bolsonaro, his wife and their two daughters entered the country from Brazil at 10.50pm on Tuesday. It said they boarded a private flight for Guayaquil 40 minutes later. Brazilian outlet Agência Pública identified the jet as LV-JQW; FlightAware recorded that aircraft flying from Puerto Iguazú to Guayaquil before departing for Florida.
Bolsonaro, a senator and son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, had led the first round of voting but lost Sunday’s presidential run-off to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. AFP reported that Brazil’s Supreme Court had barred him from leaving the country and ordered him to surrender his passports. Argentina’s migration authority said the family had valid travel documents and faced no legal impediment to entering Argentina; that statement does not settle the terms of the Brazilian court order.
FlightAware showed an expected arrival in Florida at 9.18am local time, but listed the flight as still en route when checked on Wednesday. Neither its arrival nor Bolsonaro’s presence on the Florida-bound leg was confirmed.
