Denmark beat Wales 2–0 at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, leaving Craig Bellamy’s side winless in six matches in 2026. Wales have taken no points from their Nations League A away games against Portugal and Denmark. [1]
Denmark started strongly. Gustav Isaksen had a goal ruled out for offside before Mikkel Damsgaard hit the post. Wales improved after the opening half-hour, but conceded twice from set-pieces through a Ben Davies own goal and an Isaksen strike. [1]
Bellamy said he was “really hurting” and acknowledged that Denmark had been the better team, though he expected his players to improve. Captain Davies called the two set-piece goals frustrating and said Wales needed to regroup. [1]
