BBC Newsbeat reports a phone pouch rule at Phoebe Bridgers shows, while concertgoers differ over whether clips posted online spoil the experience.

Fans attending Phoebe Bridgers shows must lock their phones and other recording devices in pouches on entry, BBC Newsbeat reports. Anyone breaking the rule will be escorted out. The restriction is intended to keep surprises in the performance from reaching other fans early. [1]
The question is already familiar to fans of other artists. Olivia Rodrigo began her Unraveled tour the week before Newsbeat’s 3 October report, and surprises from the show were soon being discussed online. TikTok told Newsbeat that posts using #CharliXCX had risen by more than 40% since Charli XCX launched her Music, Fashion, Film tour the previous month. [1]
Fans do not all want the same surprise. Aurélia Collins told Newsbeat she tries to keep concert videos out of her feed and was disappointed when a clip appeared before she saw Niall Horan in London. Georgia McAdam said she prefers to know the stage layout, set list and where to stand, and sees online clips as teasers. [1]
