Seven people were killed and 59 injured in Russian attacks on Kyiv on 25 September 2026, city authorities said. The strikes included daytime drone attacks on a residential block and an office building. [1] [2]
In its 21:19 local-time update, Kyiv’s city administration said 25 wounded people were in municipal hospitals, one in a serious condition. The citywide death toll had risen from five reported earlier in the day. [1]
A drone struck a 16-storey residential building in the Pechersk district at about 08:00, killing a 14-year-old boy, Kyiv police said. At least seven residents were injured in that attack. [2]
In the afternoon, a separate drone strike hit an office building in the Solomianskyi district, damaging its façade and blowing out windows. The city administration reported four deaths and seven injuries, including a child, in that incident. Those casualties formed part of the citywide toll. [1]

The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine said on 24 September that civilians had been killed or injured in Kyiv on 16 of the month’s first 24 days — a frequency not recorded in any other month in the capital since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022.
