A car caught fire and ended up partly beneath a lorry after a collision on the N260 near Gilze in the Netherlands on Saturday morning, with police unable to say how many people were inside. Both vehicles caught fire, and the lorry driver was not injured, a spokesperson said.
The fire brigade extinguished the blaze, but the damage meant police could not yet identify the car. The road was fully closed, and heavy recovery cranes were being brought in to remove the vehicles. Police said their investigation into the cause was expected to last through the afternoon.
