Sophie Adenot carried out three spacewalks outside the International Space Station in less than 15 days, spending a combined 19 hours and 42 minutes outside, the European Space Agency said in a video published on 2 October. [1]
ESA said Adenot and her crewmates replaced station hardware, installed a new communications antenna, carried out maintenance and prepared experiments for future work. [1]
Adenot led the third spacewalk as EV1, ESA said. The three outings combined equipment work with preparations for future experiments aboard the station. [1]
