The Dutch actor is set to introduce performances at a November concert in Amsterdam raising funds for a planned underground hospital in Ukraine.
Dutch actor Gijs Scholten van Aschat is due to give an introduction and introduce performers at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on 8 November, according to Nieuws.nl. The reported programme includes pianist Anna Fedorova, who is scheduled to play Chopin’s Third Piano Sonata. Nieuws.nl says everyone involved is contributing without payment and ticket sales have begun. It describes Protect Ukraine as sending medical supplies to the country, including ambulances, medicines and protective vests for doctors. No fundraising total has been announced in the report; the hospital remains a planned use of the proceeds. [1]
