Two Amsterdam men, aged 24 and 25, were arrested on Monday in connection with the shooting in Overasselt on 1 September, ANP reported, citing police. Searches in Diemen, Hoofddorp and Amsterdam led to the seizure of two firearms, including an automatic weapon, and several data-storage devices. [1]
A third suspect was arrested at the home where the firearms were found. Investigators are examining his role; it is not known whether either weapon was used in the shooting. [1]

Prosecutors previously said the two shooting suspects could be traced to a crime scene in Overasselt, but declined to explain why they were arrested nearly a month after the incident. [3]
