Elon Musk says he plans to give every child in the United States a share in SpaceX next year, but has offered no details on how the proposed gifts would work.
The billionaire announced the plan on Monday on X, the social media platform he owns, according to a report by Nieuws.nl, which attributed its coverage to ANP and Bloomberg. [1]
The announcement came a day after Anthropic said it would set aside 5 per cent of its shares in a new fund intended to support donations for the public good. Musk did not explain how children would receive or hold SpaceX shares, or provide further details of his plan. [1]
