A Los Angeles judge has approved Zahara’s request to remove Pitt from her legal name, entertainment outlets report.

Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, the 21-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has been granted a legal name change removing Pitt, UOL Splash and Extra report. Both cite Page Six’s account of Los Angeles court documents. [1] [2]
UOL Splash says Judge Virginia Keeny approved the petition on 28 September 2026 without objections. Extra quotes the reported decree as changing her name to Zahara Marley Jolie. [1] [2]
Zahara had already used the name Jolie publicly, including at her Spelman College graduation in May 2026 and at a student-sorority induction in 2023, UOL Splash reports. [1]
