A 14-year-old boy pleaded not guilty at Newport Crown Court on Tuesday to murdering Lilly Jones, whose body was found in a park in south Wales in June, according to BBC court reporter Colette Hume. The boy cannot be named for legal reasons.
Lilly, also 14, was found in Duffryn Park in Blaina, Blaenau Gwent, on 22 June, two days after her family reported her missing.
The trial is scheduled to begin on 23 November. ITV News Wales reported that the date had been fixed at a hearing on 29 June, months before the boy entered his plea.
