Speaking about third-quarter housing market developments on 8 October, Lana Goutsmits-Gerssen, chair of NVM Wonen, said buyers would face a tight market for the time being. Her assessment came despite more existing homes being on offer than in the same quarter a year earlier, according to an ANP report published by Nieuws.nl. [1]
Goutsmits-Gerssen pointed to continued high numbers of viewings and frequent offers above asking price. She expects the market to become somewhat more balanced eventually, but said it was not yet there. [1]
