Robert Pattinson will receive the 40th American Cinematheque Award at a gala in Beverly Hills on 9 February 2027, the organisation has announced. The honour recognises his film career and follows a change of recipient after this year’s planned ceremony was cancelled.
The organisation had announced Ryan Gosling as the award’s recipient in June, but cancelled the planned 2 November presentation after it could not agree a date with him. It then decided to find a new date and honouree for a 2027 gala. Pattinson succeeds Michael B. Jordan, who received the award last year.
