A 35-year-old man injured in a fatal shooting in Rotterdam is out of danger, police say. He is also suspected in the investigation into the killing of a 36-year-old man from Dordrecht.
The shooting happened at about 8pm on Monday on Evenaar, in the Oosterflank neighbourhood. The 36-year-old was driving the car. Two other men, aged 60 and 19, were also inside, alongside the injured man.
After the driver died, the three other occupants fled the car. Police arrested all three on suspicion of attempted manslaughter or murder. They are being held under restrictions that limit their contact with others.
Divers later found a firearm in a ditch near Evenaar, police said. Police initially described the 19-year-old as 54, but a spokesperson corrected his age on Tuesday.
