The sixth episode of *The Celebrity Traitors* left viewers waiting to discover whether a deliberately tedious stunt would claim a victim, while Miranda Hart’s emotional farewell to Joe Lycett and an impromptu Little Mix dance provided the evening’s liveliest moments.
The traitors were challenged to make themselves so boring that a faithful player would yawn. If anyone joined in, they would be “murdered” in plain sight. The episode ended before revealing whether the tactic worked; viewers must wait until next Thursday to find out.
Earlier, YouTuber and former aspiring boxer King Kenny joined the traitors, alongside Maya Jama and James Acaster. He told the show’s diary room that having power “does feel good”, though he also admitted he was nervous inside.
Joe Lycett was banished after receiving 11 of the 14 votes at the round table. He had drawn suspicion by saying he wanted to join the traitors, but revealed he was a faithful when he left. Hart, who had refused to vote for her friend, reacted with tears and said their connection and laughter mattered more than the game.
Hart also spoke about the illness that had left her bed-bound and housebound. During a mission in the Scottish Highlands, she said it was exciting to be taking part after once fearing she might never manage a gentle walk in a park again.
After Lycett’s exit, singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock offered to teach Hart a Little Mix dance move. Hart dubbed the pair “Little Mix and... Big Mix” as they danced on the floor.
The episode’s final scene turned back to the traitors’ yawning plan. They tried to draw Jerry Hall and Ross Kemp into a deliberately dull conversation, but the outcome was left unresolved.
