The upcoming *All You Need Is Love* Christmas special will be filmed on location rather than in a studio, presenter Robert ten Brink has told *De Telegraaf*.
Ten Brink said the choice had been held out to him as a possibility every year. Last year, he said the programme would return to the studio.
He was unsure whether he was disappointed, but said filming on location allowed the makers to use edits, transitions and music in a different way. He added that he would still like to make the show in a studio, where viewers could be misdirected differently.
The special is traditionally broadcast on Christmas Eve.
