Lindblad says he has apologised to Lawson and Racing Bulls after their Baku collision, and knows what he would do differently in future.

Liam Lawson has questioned why Racing Bulls team-mate Arvid Lindblad received no penalty after their collision at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix safety-car restart. Contact at the first corner spun Lawson round and ended his race, while Lindblad went on to finish seventh. [1]
Speaking to journalists in Malaysia, including RacingNews365, Lawson said he had watched the incident again and was confused by the outcome. He said he could not understand why it had not resulted in a penalty. [1]
Lawson said he was pleased Racing Bulls had still scored points. He added that he and Lindblad had spoken a little since the race, after he left quickly to catch a flight. [1]

The team-mates made contact at the lap-36 restart in Baku. RacingNews365 reports that Lindblad locked up into Turn 1 and hit Lawson, spinning him and damaging his car’s floor. The contact came during a braking chain reaction involving cars further up the field. [2]
The FIA stewards took no further action, treating the contact as a restart incident, RacingNews365 reports. Lawson nevertheless questioned the gap Lindblad had tried to use and said the floor damage had hurt his race. [2]
