A PSV spokesperson has confirmed that attacker Alassane Pléa will not play again in 2026, ANP reported through Nieuws.nl, following an earlier report by ESPN. [1]
Pléa underwent surgery after recently being injured in training. He had returned at the start of this season from a long-term knee injury that kept him out for much of last season. The nature of his latest injury and the date of the operation remain unclear. [1]
ANP also reported defender Lutsharel Geertruida’s injury appeared less serious. PSV said it was still unclear whether he would be available against sc Heerenveen in the Eredivisie or RB Leipzig in the Champions League. [1]
