Pien Wekking is among six nominees for the 2026 Golden Cookbook award, with public voting open until 5 December. The Dutch food influencer is shortlisted for *Pien’s Dinner Club Comfortrecepten*, the first time she has been in the running for the prize, according to Nieuws.nl.
The other nominees are Janneke Philippi for *Canapé*, Joeri Veul for *Heilig Boontje*, Carl Lemette and Mas van Putten for *Maluku*, Perry de Man for *Sama Sama*, and Tamara Ivanovic for *Zure-kersen-hart*.
Nieuws.nl says three shortlisted books offer a view of another country’s cooking: *Maluku* and *Sama Sama* focus on Molukse cuisine, while *Zure-kersen-hart* is described as a tribute to Bosnian cuisine.
The prize has been awarded since 2007. Its winner receives a gold screenprint and certificate, and can call their book the cookbook of the year for 12 months. The report names Yvette van Boven, Jigal Krant, Rutger van den Broek and Nadia Zerouali as previous winners who later broke through.
