Turkey’s justice ministry says a court order targets news site T24 and its social-media accounts over what it calls ‘LGBT propaganda’.

An Istanbul court ordered content removal and/or access blocking for T24’s website under Turkey’s internet law. The decision, dated 29 September, names t24.com.tr and calls for compliance immediately, and within four hours at the latest. Turkey’s justice ministry also said the measure covered the news outlet’s social-media accounts. [2]
The ministry said the order formed part of an investigation called *Ailem Güvende* (‘My Family Is Safe’) by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. It alleged that 118 pieces of content published by T24 over the preceding year amounted to ‘LGBT propaganda’. [2]
T24 said it received the order by email at 17:00 on Wednesday and that an access-block decision had appeared on the telecommunications regulator BTK’s website. [2]
A coalition of journalism organisations, including the Turkish Journalists’ Union, condemned the decision as a violation of press freedom and called for it to be reversed. [4]
