The 21st season of Dutch police drama *Flikken Maastricht* will begin on 1 January, broadcaster AVROTROS has announced. Angela Schijf and Egbert Jan Weeber will take the lead roles as members of a new team.
AVROTROS released the first footage of the pair in action in September. In the previous season, Eric Corton appeared as a new colleague to Schijf’s character, Eva van Dongen.
The show has also dropped the character Floris Wolfs, played by Victor Reinier. Nieuws.nl reports that Reinier had to leave after complaints about his behaviour.
